BIOGRAPHY

Progressive death metallers, Syrebris is a 4 piece american band based in Los Angeles, CA. Formed and lead by guitarist & vocalist Victoria Villarreal along side her husband Manuel Villarreal, drummer James Coppolino, and bassist Jesse Villalta. With such an unusual name, Syrebris (pronounced as Sur-ree-briss) roots from the word Cerebral, meaning "pertaining to the Cerebrum or the brain." The band created the name to express the the power of the human mind and the higher levels of consciousness that lead to inner peace and wisdom. Their lyrics are highly inspired by Spirituality, Enlightenment, Metaphysics, Transcendence, Sacred Geometry, and much more. Hoping to inspire many, together they experiment with genres ranging from Progressive Metal, Death Metal, Thrash, to Jazz, Acoustic, and ethnic elements. With Syrebris, you will hear soft guitars that break into unforgettable riffs of rage and melodic madness. 

As of now, they have just released their 6 song EP titled "Aetheric Dynamics." Recorded at Pure Rock Studios, CA. Vocals had been recorded at Sadhana Studios, VA with their recently parted vocalist Jeanette Hunsberger. After parting ways with their singer, guitarist Victoria Villarreal, with previous experience fronting a band, decided to take on the lead vocal duties for now on.

This is just part of their evolution. Expect new sounds to come as they are currently in the process of writing new material for their album and plan to tour the US.
